Palacio de congresos
Different, that is the adjective that defines the Congress Centre of Gijon. For many reasons.
Because it is located in the finest part of the Luis Adaro Fair premises, which multiplies its polyvalency and its capacity to hold large events, large congresses. Because the premises themselves are totally unusual, different to the traditional premises comprised of enormous functional and closed pavilions. Different-sized pavilions (up to 5500 m), with their own architectonic personality, open up to the streets with a space of 160,000 square metres, peppered with gardened areas and trees, so do not be surprised if you suddenly see squirrels jumping about, they will have come from the large Isabel la Catolica Park.

Gijon places more than just fair premises at the disposal of large event organisers, it offers a congress campus, an autonomous city where you can really see and enjoy the change of seasons in its trees.
